While the Maine Coon is one of the largest breeds and the Norweign Forest Cat likely second to size, all I can say is with the Siberian size is not everything and should not be everything. The Siberian has a rounded head, a modified wedge, and is one of "circles" rather than the "triangular" head standard of the Maine Coon. Both are beautiful, loyal, and affectionate.
While Siberian's are considered "hypo-allergenic," there is no guarantee that some allergic reactions might still occur. Many individuals with allergies have also had some success with Maine Coons.
There is no such thing as a "non-allergenic" cat and it is always wise to do testing before reserving a kitten.
