CONDITIONS OF SALE
Buyer accepts full responsibility for the care of this kitten/cat for its
lifetime and agrees to the following terms:
RE-HOMING
Inspirada must be contacted at any time the buyer is unable to keep
the kitten. This kitten will never be placed in an animal shelter or sold to a research or testing facility. Breeder agrees to accept the kitten/cat if, at any time, Buyer can no longer care for it (for reasons of health,
housing, relocation, or other circumstances) without obligation to refund
the purchase price. If registration of this kitten/cat has already been
transferred to the Buyer, Buyer further agrees to transfer registration
back to Breeder at the time of such surrender. Buyer is responsible for
all shipping and transfer costs. Kittens/cats may not be sold or
re-homed by Buyer without Breeder's written consent.

SAFETY AND HEALTH PROCEDURES
Exercise: The kitten/cat is not allowed outdoors unsupervised. Leash
walks and fully enclosed recreation areas are encouraged to allow your
kitten/cat the pleasure of exploration. Buyer will provide a generous amount of daily exercise for this kitten, to provide it with toys, and not to cage it as a general rule.
Declawing: Inspirada kitten/cats are sold with the understanding they are not to be declawed. Declawing surgically removes the tips of the cats' "fingers". Declawing is a mutilation and cruelty that often alters the kitten/cats temperament and health. Declawing voids all protections of this contract for the Buyer.
Veterinary Care and Health Updates: Buyer agrees to maintain
proper veterinary care for their kitten/cat, including yearly check-ups and vaccintions. Buyer agrees to immediatley inform Breeder of any genetic health issues so that proper tracking of the inheritance can be done, affected cats removed from breeding programs, and other pet owners notified. Buyer agrees to keep the Breeder informed of any change in street address, phone number or e-mail address. Buyer will inform Breeder of any worrisome developments in the health and growth of the kitten/cat and provide an annual photograph and general health report.
Nutrition and Care: Buyer agrees to provide this kitten/cat with love and affection to include playing, grooming and feeding a nutritious and high quality diet. We recommend Blue Buffalo, or Wellness Core
supported by raw diets and/or a good quality canned food.
Transition: Buyer agrees to follow Breeder's recommendations for
transition period for a minimum of one week. They include: isolation in a safe and cozy place with climber, litter box, food and water to enable kitten to develop confidence and desire to explore and participate in it's new life. Buyer agrees not to overwhelm kitten with other pets, visitors or soo much handling. Kittens are like babies and need a gentle introduction to their new lives. Failure to follow insturctions can lead to behavior or emotional problems in your kitten.

HEALTH AND GENETIC GUARANTEE
72 Hour Health Exam: Breeder will accept kitten/cat back for
replacement, if within 72 hours a veterinarian certifies in writing that the kitten is ill or deformed in such a way as to make it unsuitable for the
purposes for which it was purchased. Although unfortunate, situations such as giardia, coccidian, ringworm, etc., can be picked up in transit, and do not void this contract, nor serve as reasons for kitten replacement. Kittens are living creatures and as such Buyer should understand it will require health care over its lifetime, as with any living creature. Any and all transportation costs for return of kitten and shipping of replacement kitten are to be paid by Buyer. Proof of 72 hour examination must be furnished to Breeder within one week of kitten/cats arrival at your home. This kitten/cat needs to be kept secluded and away from all other animals until it is examined. Failure to have the kitten/cat strictly isolated and then examined by a licensed veterinarian, within the 72 hour time frame, negates this health
guarantee and renders this contract void. Any and all vet bills or debts
incurred on behalf of this kitten/cat are the sole responsibility of the Buyer.

Genetic Guarantee: Inspirada guarantees kittens for HCM or PKD for two years from date of purchase. Cats will be replaced upon receipt of diagnosis by a licensed veterinary specialist or necropsy conducted by a certified veterinary lab, paid for by the Buyer.
Inspirada will replace the defective kitten/cat with another of the same quality (pet/or show). No cash refunds are provided. Except as stated in this contract, Breeder makes no representations as to the health or quality of this cat/kitten, nor does Breeder assume any other financial obligations to the Buyer.

Pre-delivery Exam and Care: This kitten has received a veterinary
examination, dated as per shipping papers, and been found to be in excellent health. This kitten has been spayed/neutered even if sold as a show cat and has had distemper, rabies, FELV vaccinations and needs
to be re-vaccinated at 16 weeks to 17 weeks of age. Your kitten has also
been preventively dewormed. This kitten eats Blue Buffalo kitten kibble
and a good quality canned food twice per day. Poor quality diets lead to
health problems in cats and kittens. A good diet combined with play
(exercise) and love = a healthy happy cat! Thank you for your good and
loving care of your new kitten!
Shipping: Breeder is no longer responsible for the cat/kitten once it has been released to airline employees/or shipping agents of any kind or owner. Breeder will pay to insure the cat through the airline carrier.
Non-Refundable Deposit and Payments: The Buyer understands
that a minimum $300 deposit is required to reserve any kitten/cat. Deposits are non-refundable should Buyer decide at any time not to purchase the kitten/cat. Buyer's deposit is deducted from the balance due. Upon selection of specific kitten, the remainder of purchase price and shipping costs, if any, are due 1 week before delivery date. Kitten price is non-refundable if paid. If for any reason your kitten becomes ill and is not treatable, your purchase price will apply to the next available kitten of the same quality and type (pet/show). You can choose to wait longer for a kitten of the same color and patterning. No refunds are available.
By initialing and signing this contact, and having his or her initials and
signature below, Buyer attests that he or she has read, understands, and
agrees with the terms and conditions within this contract. If any provision in this contract is found to be unenforceable, it does not invalidate the enforceability of any other provision, clause or condition set forth in this contract. If any litigation occurs, it is understood that it will have to be filed and performed at the Breeder’s home city, county, state, and country and at the Buyer’s expense.
